My name is Natalie Guimond (she/her). I am a Black-Biracial Settler of Jamaican, French-Canadian and Guyanese decent, residing in Toronto (Tkaronto), Canada. I had the privilege of completing my BA in Psychology at York University, and Masters of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. Through schooling, self-led education, work and lived experience I have gained an in-depth understanding of mental health and pathways to wellness.
My approach to therapy is holistic, intersectional, trauma-informed, anti-racist, and 2SLGBTQ+ positive. I am passionate about creating culturally affirming and inclusive spaces for people to grow, learn and heal. As a survivor and human being on my own journey, I believe we all have the capacity to heal from and grow through whatever life challenges we may be facing, have faced in the past, or will encounter in the future. It is my role as your therapist to create a trusted space for your healing, offering perspective and guidance along the way. When you take the steps to heal yourself, I believe you heal the generations before and after you. It is always an honour and privilege to support individuals through their healing journeys.
